I am approaching this blog as means to help promote the artists of Telephone Booth Gallery but also as a photo blog of images for those who appreciate art, photography, architecture, and vintage finds. These posts will be mostly photos –I’m very visual.

Since moving back to Toronto from a three year stint in Orangeville, my partner and I are exploring neighbourhoods in the city that we haven’t fully discovered or visited before. We approach these adventures like mini vacations.

In the last couple of months we’ve discovered Leslieville with the awesome vintage heaven Gadabout! It is everything I like! The thrill of the hunt. Great selection.

We’ve strolled along Carlaw and stumbled upon three must see shops all located in the same huge warehouse:

Snob. I love these lights!

Greentea Design and Dragon Heir also provide amazing eye candy for the home.

This past weekend we were lucky enough to go to the open house at Evergreen Brickworks.  The Brickworks is an amazing retro build that made me say… “I think I am falling in love with Toronto again.”  The Four Directions exhibition was an amazing site specific, interactive experience.  We also made a brief stop in Corktown.  A spot I would love to spend more time exploring. Almost went home with a lamp shade from Douglas Poole Antiques!
